Summary
A card game, with its original box, entitled 'Old Maid'. The cards consist of seventeen pairs of coloured picture cards with the title below each illustration, examples include 'The Clown', 'The Tight-Rope Walker' and 'The Lion Tamer'. There is one instruction card and one card with a colour illustration of the 'Old Maid' on it. The reverse of all the cards have a red and white illustration of an 'old woman' with the words 'Old Maid' at the bottom and at the top upside down. The box opens at one end with a flap and the front and back has a colour illustration of an 'old woman' wearing a yellow mob cap, reading glasses and shawl. A parrot sits on a perch facing her. The words 'Old Maid' can be seen in a speech bubble from the parrot's mouth. The sides of the box also have an illustration of the parrot with the speech bubble. Total number of items is 37.
