Summary
A doll's wooden trunk in the shape of a treasure chest. It consists of solid wooden ends (mainly rectangular but with slightly curved tops) stained red-brown, and a continuous piece around the outside which is made up of wooden slats bound together with cotton thread, held in place with small metal nails. The short edges of this piece are finished with strips of brown tape, and the trunk is fastened with a (rusty) metal shell-shaped clasp on the front of the body with a metal eyelet on the edge of the slatted piece.
