Summary
A black plastic ring binder containing some of Betty Cadbury's notes about her collection. This one is labelled 'Automata A 1-115'. Many of the pages are handwritten in ink and give a description of a toy, the date it was bought, who from, and how much it cost. Some pages have descriptions or illustrations cut from books or magazines stuck in. There are also several receipts and letters. At the very back of the binder is a Sotheby's catalogue for a sale on 5th February 1971, which included automata. Total number of items is 2.

Loaned to the Museum of Childhood by the Betty Cadbury Trust Sudbury in May 1993.
