Summary
A cardboard box with a white paper label on the lid reading 'Scholar's Box Of Cardboard Coins Order No. K.411. Sisson And Parker Ltd Nottingham' in black ink. A cardboard tray slides out of the ends. The box contains 25 full size cardboard coins of pre-decimal currency. There are five farthings, one sovereign, two half sovereigns, two halfpennies, six pennies, one threepenny bit, one sixpence, three shillings, two two-shillings and two half-crowns. Some have King George V printed on the back, others King George VI. The latest date printed on the coins is 1937. Total number of items is 27.
