Summary
A Spooners Game of English History which consists of a shiny sheet of paper with coloured illustrations of events in history from BC 55 to AD 1845. Each illustration has a title. A 'rope' weaves between the various pictures with the dates in roundels. The title is printed at the top of the sheet. It was originally published in November 1847 and this sheet was reproduced by The Collections of the Museum of London. On the reverse of the sheet it states that this game was very typical of the early Victorian period with a strong educational theme. To play the game, you use a dice, or a hexagonal 'teetotum', with alternate sections marked with M (move). The instruction sheet, issued by the Museum of London, shows how to make a Teetotum. It is printed in black ink with diagrams at the top of the page. Total number of items is 2.
