Summary

A certificate from the University of Cambridge printed in black on a cream card stuck on to another piece of card. This backing card has brown staining on it. The certificate has a wide black and white border of flowers and urns with circular medallions at each corner and a crest with three figures placed centrally at the top. It was presented to Gwendolen Q. Burn in July 1909, aged 17 years, at Bournemouth for Arithmetic, Religious Knowledge, Botany and Drawing. It is signed by A.J. Mason, Vice-Chancellor. At the base on the left is printed 'F.W. Andrew deb' and at the right 'Daffield'.
