Summary
A wooden box containing a set of dominoes, along with two wooden matchsticks, a short metal rod and another small object, which could all possibly have been used as markers, in cribbage for example. The box is rectangular, with a sliding lid, which is stained at one side. Each domino is made from a rectangle of dark wood with a matching rectangle of bone or ivory nailed on top. The spots are indented and painted in black. A few of the dominoes have small pieces of ivory or bone chipped off. Also in the box are two used matchsticks and a brown metal rod of a similar diameter and length. The other small object is of a similar length and has a 'turned' appearance, resembling an elongated chess pawn but with a point at one end and a short piece protruding from the centre of its flat other end. Total number of items is 34.
