Summary
A cream card folder edged with red silk containing four needlework samples. On the front cover is written, in faded brown ink, 'Ripley Girls School, Sarah Thorpe, Standard V'. Inside are four samples. One is knitted in brown wool with red and white in it. The second is a knitted square in white wool overlaid in the centre with green wool. The third is a small rectangle of white cotton tacked around in pink cotton, with a hand stitched pink buttonhole and a linen covered button. The fourth is a bodice shaped piece of white cotton stitched in pink with a white tape loop attached to the base. The front cover is spotted and marked.
