Summary
A four page printed leaflet or magazine entitled 'Band of Hope Review and Children’s Friend', Number 112, 1st April 1860. The price is one halfpenny. The front page has a black and white illustration of two birds (long tailed titmouses) building a nest with the beginnings of an article above. The leaflet consists of articles of a religious nature, including poems, biblical quotes, missionary reports, heroism, moral lessons and competitions. It is illustrated in black and white. Part of the top of the page is missing.
