Summary
A child's white ceramic plate (circa 1900). The plate has deep side and has a silver coloured trim on the rim with the words 'Baby's Plate' in black. The plate has a colour illustration of a group of two adults and four children gathered around a Punch and Judy show. The words 'Punch And Judy Show' are shown underneath. Stuck to the underside of the plate are four white paper labels. Handwritten on two is 'Friedmann'.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs D. Friedmann in October 1982.
Marks and inscriptions
On the centre of the base, inside a shield shape with green glaze brushed mark over the top: : 'Shelley []'
