Summary
Two pieces of black material, possibly a mixture of silk and cotton. Both materials are decorated with gold coloured metallic thread and have similar patterns. The larger of the two has gold coloured metallic thread within a rectangle with a square swirl inside. This pattern is repeated, separately at the bottom. Between these patterns are abstract flowers or animals edged in gold colour metallic thread. The inside of these animals or flowers are in various silk colours. In the centre is a silk bird holding a pink rose with green leaves in its green beak. The top of its head is red, its eye black. The bird's body is white with two large wings. The back tail feathers are black and the legs are green. The pattern on the right side of this material is gold coloured metallic thread running upwards in two looped parallel lines, joined together further up. An 'm' shape is at the very top of this pattern. The second, smaller piece of material has green silk ribbon edging at the top and white cotton at the bottom. This piece is decorated with the same gold coloured metallic rectangle swirls as the first, but this time joined together in a 'U' shape around the edge. Again, the centre of the material has various abstract animal or flower shapes. The reverse of the materials are unbacked and the stitching can be seen. Total number of items is 2.
