Summary
A green-blue velvet child's jacket with a detached white cotton collar (1870s or 1880s) in 1820s style. The breechers that match this jacket are recorded as 658038. The collar is rounded and frilled at one edge. The other edge has loose threads, as does the collar of the jacket. The collar is stained in places. The green-blue velvet jacket is decorated at the front with six large metal buttons made up of small circles. These buttons are badly rusted. The sleeves are turned up at the end with white cotton frilled cuffs inside. The inside lining is brown artificial silk decorated with vertical white and brown lines. A label on the inside gives the manufacturer 'Bland and Co' and their address. The jacket is badly stained, possibly with mould. Total number of items is 2.
