Summary
A cream-coloured woollen blanket for a cot or large pram. All the edges are bound with cream-coloured satin, and just inside the edge is an embroidered line, in blue on one side of the blanket and pink on the other. There is a picture worked in (raised woollen) appliqué and embroidery at one end of each side - on the blue-bordered side is a girl in a green dress (with a pink ribbon bow at the back) and a pink bonnet, with a basket, feeding a hen and three chicks; on the other side there is a hen and six chicks. There are a few (possibly moth) holes which have been darned.
