Summary
A fine white cotton woman's petticoat skirt. The petticoat is decorated with broderie anglaise in three horizontal rows above a scalloped hem Between each row is a row of embroidery. Above this decoration are five rows of pintucks. This decorated section is an additional layer to the main petticoat. The petticoat opens at the back and fastens with a tie. The petticoat shows evidence of darning.
