Summary
A white cotton petticoat with the bottom cut off. The petticoat has short-sleeves with lace around the edges. It is decorated with lace around the top of the collar with a square shaped opening. It fastens at the front with two fabric covered buttons. A third button would have been at the top, but it is missing and only the button hole remains. On the side with the buttons is a vertical lace insert going part of the way down. This is the same on the button hole side, but with an additional lace in a vertical rectangle by the edge.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Greenwood in 1978.
