The hat is knitted in one piece and sewn together down one side and is also turned over at the bottom. The hat is knitted in red coloured wool at the top of the crown, followed by a white band which covers the remainder of the crown and has a repeated 'Peter Rabbit' motif in brown, blue and black wool. The bottom of the hat is red. There is a white material label sewn inside the hat which gives manufacturer details on the front and washing instructions and symbols on the back.
