Summary
A carved, wooden, toy lifeboat with four removable crew. The boat is shaped with a flat bottom. The deck is polished wood and the bottom half is painted blue with a band of red tape. Along each side are three, blue, wooden beads held in place by a white cord threaded in and out along the side of the boat. The hollowed out deck has four circular recesses into which the wooden crew can be fitted. The crew are made from dowling, with a shaped head. They have yellow PVC souwesters, a yellow jacket made from a strip of yellow PVC and painted features. A white cord is secured to the bow of the boat. There is a white and red label stuck to the deck giving the makers as Halfpenny Houses, Bideford, North Devon, England. Total number of items is 5.
