Summary
A View-Master 3D toy with its original packaging (1982). The view-master toy is made of moulded red plastic. It has two protruding lenses and behind these is a slot with a black plastic lever beside it. There are three circular cardboard reels comprising 21 3D pictures. Each of the reels may be dropped into the slot. As the lever is operated up and down, the reels revolve through the 21 pictures. There are wo pieces of packaging for a view-master 3D toy. One piece is made of transparent moulded plastic packaging and is shaped to fit around the view-master toy. The other is the colour printed cardboard backing sheet on which is printed, in red and yellow, 'View-Master 3D Starter Set'. Beneath this is a colour printed illustration of E.T. and his human friend - a little boy wearing a red polo shirt. Total number of items is 6.
