Summary
A cream coloured metal tin with a removable lid. Printed on the tin lid in black ink is 'Product of the Glaxo Laboratories, This is the original Glucose-D. The trade mark 'Glucodin' now distinguishes it from imitators. It is the only glucose with Ostelin vitamin D and calcium glycerophosphate'. The sides of the tin contain additional information also printed in black ink. Stuck onto the exterior of the tin is a paper label on which is handwritten in pencil 'Darning Wool Etc'. Inside the tin was found a colour printed booklet entitled 'Decimal Currency Board Banking HMSO'. This business booklet was printed at the introduction of decimalisation on 15th February 1971. The booklet was printed under crown copyright in 1969. Total number of items is 3.
