Summary
A blue and white cotton hanging child's height chart. On the left is printed, in brown, pink and blue, a collection of Beatrix Potter characters joined by blue scrolled lines. On the right is a blue bordered column for the names, ages and dates. Alongside this is a printed ruler marked in centimetres from 55cm, at the bottom, to 160cm, at the top. Threaded through the top and bottom hems are pieces of dowelling and a white cord is fastened to the top for hanging. Printed on the back of the top hem is the makers name and address and on the bottom hem is 'for use with fine fibre tip pen'. Fastened to this hem are two loops of tape to hold a brown fibre tipped pen, also made by Cuckoobird. Part of the original wrappings is a folded white card printed in blue and brown. On the front is printed 'Beatrix Potter, Growing Up Measure, Made By Cuckoobird, Tonbridge, England' and on the back are instructions on how to hang the measure. Total number of items is 5.
