The first is entitled 'The Young Scholar' painted in 1761 by Francois Hubert Drouais (1727-1775), the original is in the Louvre. It depicts a three quarter length of a young boy wearing a brown coat carrying a brown portfolio under his right arm. His long hair is tied in a pony tail. He wears a dark brown hat. The second is a colour reproduction print entitled 'Little Girl' painted by John Bradley in the naive American style. The original is in the National Gallery of Art, Washington. It depicts a little girl wearing a pink dress, a black apron and white pantaloons. On the left is a red rose bush in a pot. Beneath the bush a ginger and white cat is playing with a fallen rose. The little girl holds a basket containing red roses and other flowers in her left hand. The third is a colour reproduction print entitled 'Boy with a House of Cards' painted by Francois Hubert Drouais (1727-1775). The original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. It depicts a boy wearing a white shirt with a ruffle neckline under a cream coat. Tied at the waist on the outside of the coat is a blue sash. He wears a hat decorated with blue and white ribbons. His hands hover over a house of cards situated on a chair on the right. The forth is a colour reproduction print entitled 'Master Lambton' painted by Thomas Lawrance (1769-1830), from the collection of the Earl of Durham. It depicts a young boy with dark hair supporting his head with his hand while resting on a bent elbow. He wears a white shirt with a ruffle neckline and a dark red coat. His eyes are looking upwards.
