Summary
An original rectangular grey cardboard box containing the board game 'Timpo Cricket'. A colour printed label on the removable lid depicts a boy holding a cricket bat with three fielders in the background. To the right of the boy is printed 'Timpo Cricket, Timpo Toys, Regd Trade Mark, Made In England, An Exciting Game'. Inside the box is a board (folded in half lengthways) on which is printed 'The Timpo Cricket Game'. Players have to move counters along the demarcated squares. Some of the squares contain information e.g. 'hit wicket' or 'caught' etc. There is also a set of printed instructions, nine red cardboard circular counters, a wooden circular counter, a wooden dice with red spots and a larger dice, made from folded cardboard, with black spots. Total number of items is 16.
