Summary
A metal model ambulance. The base is painted red with the upper body in white, with a clear lamp on the top. There are Perspex windows to the front, sides and back. On the side windows are painted red and white stripes, a white cross in a red circle and `Ambulance' in white on red. On the back window a label says `running in', and below this on the red base is another label saying ` running in'. Underneath are four black tyred wheels and a small red lever with on-off and an arrow by it. The centre part is red with an arrow either side and `Pat app. 38690/62' embossed on it, plus a small round hole. On the grey chassis it states `Corgi Toys' on one side and `Superior Ambulance on Cadillac Chassis'. At the front it says `Made in Gt. Britain' and at the back `Patent Application 21101/59, other patents pending'.
