Summary
A wooden train set, manufactured by Brio (circa 1982). It comprises of three base wagons made of black painted wood, each with four black plastic wheels, with white rubber tyres, attached by a metal axle. They join together with a wooden ball and socket linkage. Each wagon has two rubber uprights on which are slotted various wooden pieces, which are interchangeable. The first wagon has a rectangular flat yellow painted block with two holes in it. Above this is a red painted half cylinder with a central hole, and a blue painted cylinder with one hole and a side hole. The second wagon has a red painted rectangle with two holes, surmounted by two flat cylinders with a central hole, one painted green, one yellow. The third wagon has two square shaped pieces, each with a central hole, one painted red, one blue and a half cylinder painted yellow with a central hole, and one green painted cube with a hole through one plane and a groove on one side. The side opposite the groove has a paper label reading 'Brio, Made in Sweden'. Total number of items is 13.
