Summary
A collection of pieces of constructional toys from varied manufacturers in a cardboard box (circa 1986). There are five wooden Brio construction pieces painted in high gloss: two yellow arched bricks bored through with three holes (one on each face); and three small pulley wheels, red with a central hole. Also there are twenty Duplo construction pieces made of plastic: fifteen square pieces, eleven yellow, three blue, and one black; one car, yellow with a red base and bumper, and black wheels; two oval pieces, one red and one green, with two large white eyes and large concave black pupils; one yellow turning radar scanner on a square base; and one yellow ship ventilator on a square base. The underside of the box is covered with a printed full colour photograph of a child building a 'Brio' train. The trademark 'Brio' is on the top left side in yellow and red print on a black ground. The box top is covered with a printed full colour photograph of the train parts. On the top left side is the same trademark 'Brio' with an 'R' in a circle and a yellow rectangle, black framed, that reads 'From 2 years' in six languages. The white plastic insert is upside down in the box, and contains the construction pieces. There is a leaflet, stuck together, of Lego and Duplo sets. The front of the leaflet has a printed photograph showing three children playing with Lego. In the top left corner is the word 'Lego' printed in white on a red square ground. Underneath is printed 'Basic'. On the right top corner is printed '3-12 years-ans-jaar'. The back of the leaflet shows a young child playing with Duplo. Total number of items is 38.
