Summary
A wooden toy 'Triang' theatre painted cream with cream and gold coloured panels at the front. A red fabric curtain is fastened to the proscenium arch with drawing pins. There are four footlights with electric bulbs. At each side is a rotating disc with four transparent coloured inserts and an electric bulb to shine through them. The whole structure is hinged and can be folded flat. Stored inside the theatre are: one instruction leaflet; one dark blue velvet stage curtain rolled on rods; a plastic bag containing eleven operating wires, each with a loop at one end, seven black and three white plastic poster hangers, one cane, four wooden rods, one glass lens, and one cardboard box of drawing pins; another plastic bag containing thirteen U-shaped wooden blocks; two wooden rods with metal caps at one end of each; a small paper bag containing three grooved and drilled wooden blocks, one of which is broken, one perforated metal strip, fifty-four wooden cocktail sticks, four safety pins, eight hooks with eleven paper clips linked to them, seven separate paper clips, and three small woodscrews; one empty brown paper wrapper with a printed label describing the 'Triang Theatre Set No. 1 - Aladdin'; and two short metal rods (may be doll's house curtain rods or stair rods). Total number of items is 146.
