Summary
A rectangular wooden pencil case with a lid which is decorated with a painted design, now badly worn. The lid slides off to reveal the top half of the interior, which comprises an upper compartment sub-divided into three pencil holders. This compartment is fixed with a screw on which it pivots, enabling one to reach the bottom compartment. The latter is sub-divided into three compartment of varying lengths. Adjacent to the pivoting upper compartment is an oval shaped recess. There are two pencil leads in the bottom compartment. Total number of items is 4.
