Summary
A black plastic fountain pen called 'The Seal Pen', manufactured by Conway Stewart. The surface of both the barrel and the lid is covered in an embossed check pattern. The letters 'WHS' (representing WH Smith) appear on the end of the lid and on a gold coloured metal lever on the outer edge of the barrel. There is a strip of beige coloured paper stuck around the barrel. Printed on the strip in green lettering is 'Fitted with14 ct. Gold Nib, Medium'. The original rectangular cardboard box has a printed image of a seal on the lid and the words 'The Seal Pen' in Gothic script. Inside is a length of cream tissue paper, a set of instructions printed in green ink on a piece of cream paper and a small piece of cream paper on which is printed in red ink 'Special Instructions For 'Seal' Pens'. Total number of items is 6.
