Summary
A letter to Richardson Richardson of Capenhurst, near Chester from his cousin, Emma Constable of London, dated 7 April 1800. The letter is handwritten in ink on both sides of a cream coloured sheet of paper. On the front left-hand side of the letter is Richard Richardson's name and address. The letter has been folded in on itself to form an 'envelope' and fixed with a seal. This has been cut away and is attached to the centre fold. The letter requests a reply to previous letters and details the poverty of Emma Constable and her family. Impressed on a corner of the letter are the words 'Derbyshire Museum Service'.
