Summary
A doll with a glazed china shoulder-head which has painted facial features. The hair is moulded with the head and painted to represent waved blond hair. The body, upper arms and upper legs are made of stuffed cloth. The lower arms and legs are made of unglazed ceramic material. The upper legs are sewn together at the knee. She wears a lilac silk dress in the form of a long tabard with a stitched detail along each long edge, tied at the waist with a frayed cream ribbon. Under this is a piece of flannel, also in tabard form, and a similar piece of flannel sewn at the back and front of the waist and looped round the feet. The shoes are painted and glazed in brown.
