Summary
A stockinet-headed doll with hand painted facial features (circa 1986). She has nylon brown hair in two plaits. She has a stuffed cloth body, arms, hands, legs and feet. She is wearing a white cotton dress decorated with a pink and green sprig pattern. A double pink ribbon bow is tied at the front of the waist. Underneath is a white cotton petticoat with lace at the hem and white cotton knickers, also trimmed with lace. On her feet are white, machine-knitted, nylon socks and pink, plastic imitation, patent leather shoes with ankle straps. In her right hand she holds a doll which is a miniature version of herself dressed in an identical dress. She has a stuffed cloth head, wool hair and stitched facial features. Her body, arms and legs are possibly from a pipe cleaner, around which pink and white wool has been wound tightly. Tied around the left wrist of the large doll is a piece of white card detailing the maker and model of doll.
