A single sheet letter typed on cream paper to Mr. Wiggall of 10, Ward End, Park Road, Allum Rock, Birmingham 8 from J.J. Bennett, Wing Commander, No.5 Group, No.144 Squadron, R.A.F. Station, North Luffenham, Rutland. It is dated 4th April, 1942. It mentions the Caterpillar Club (for airmen who bailed out and were saved by their parachutes) and enquires after the health of his son's pilot, F.Lt. Bar. The letter has an embossed crest at the centre top of the page.
