Summary
A pair of small circular wooden boxes each containing a doll's house size doll. Each doll has a hazel nut for a body and a wooden ball for a head. They each have painted facial features and blonde bristle hair. One wears a pink and white checked head scarf, the other a blue and white checked one. A loop of cotton thread is tied to the top of the head scarf enabling one to hang the dolls as a Christmas tree decoration perhaps. It is uncertain whether the boxes are original to the objects. One box is painted maroon with a three-lobed flower-like motif painted on the removable lid. The other box is painted blue with a red flower flanked by green leaves painted on the removable lid. Each is lined with blue and white checked paper. Total number of items is 4.
