Summary
Seven circular, glass, hand painted magic lantern slides, each held in a wooden frame. Two appear to be related to one another as they show the same castle. In one it is in flames, in the other it is shown intact at night. There is one slide showing two tiny boats in the sea surrounded by icebergs. There is a slide depicting enormous boiling springs shooting up into the air, the words 'Boiling Springs' have been handwritten on the wooden frame. There is one showing a sailing ship in flames on the sea. There is one showing a three masted sailing ship and a small fishing boat. The last slide shows bees and bee hives in a thatched building. The glass of this slide is surrounded by a circle of metal 'teeth'. A metal rod is engaged at one end into these teeth and inserted through the wooden frame. Total number of items is 7.
