Summary
A canvas cover for the 'Shakespeare Cot' (inventory number 659180) is made by the company Benjamin Edginton. ‘The Shakespeare cot’ is illustrated in the catalogue of the Army & Navy stores in 1905. It is a long bag which has a drawstring fastening at one end and a hole at the other end which has been torn. It is very dirty and there is writing on one side.
