Summary
A pack of 'The Brilliant Pack 'Plasticine' Harbutt's Original Modelling Material' (early to mid 20th century). A cardboard wallet containing seven strips of ribbed plasticine in orange, brown, yellow, pink, blue, green and red. The strips are wrapped in transparent cellophane. The price '1/6' is written in pencil in the centre of the wallet. Plasticine was invented by William Harbutt in about 1897. Harbutt was an artist and teacher and his invention was first used as a non-drying modelling clay by his students. The company continued until 1983. Total number of items is 2.
