Summary
A doll's house size cream painted wooden chimneypiece (from 'Bella Vista' doll's house - inventory number 661761) incorporating a rectangular mirror held by a wooden frame onto a wooden back board with a cornice above. On either side of the mirror are two carved uprights. Beneath the mirror is a shelf. Beneath the shelf is a copper coloured metal grate. The front section is fluted with a scalloped top edge. The hearth is covered with a cream coloured paper, decorated with a grey marble pattern and a blue and orange flower motif in the centre. The hearth is surrounded by cream painted wood, the front edge is decorated with a piece of cream painted beading. On the mantelpiece are two turned wooden candlesticks painted cream. One has red trim, the other has blue. Total number of items is 3.
