Summary
A baby's or child's silver, leaf-shaped, hollow rattle decorated with embossed patterns including scroll shapes (hallmarked Chester 1915 and Birmingham 1919). On the end of which is a silver link through which is threaded a plastic or mother of pearl ring. Through this ring is threaded a piece of pale blue ribbon which is also threaded through an identical ring at the other end. The rattle handle is made of the same material. On one side of the rattle is a silver bell attached to a link. On the same side is another link through which is threaded a piece of cream ribbon. A silver spherical shaped bell is attached via a metal ring to the second plastic or mother of pearl ring.
