Summary
A card game, called 'The New Educational Game Countries of Empire' (1930s). Consisting of 52 cards, one contents card, an instruction leaflet and a box with a sliding lid. The box lid is decorated on one side with the title, a picture of ships on the sea and further details of the game and the publisher's details. The back of the box lid has the name of the publisher, the title of the game and a map of the Empire. The lid is printed in black and white on a blue ground, and the base is covered with blue paper. The cards are printed with either the names and industries of Empire countries or with pictures and descriptions of the different industries. The text is printed in black ink, and the illustrations are printed in sepia. Total number of items is 55.
