Summary
A set of nine cards which are a 'Facsimile of the South Sea Bubble Playing Cards first published 1720. The cards bear satirical portrayals of the speculators involved in the South Sea Bubble of 1720.' Each card, printed in black ink, depict various scenes with 'bubbles' containing quotes. The top left-hand corner shows the suit and number of card. Under each print are lines of print describing the scene. Total number of items is 10.
