Summary
A dark coloured wooden cricket bat with a string bound handle and three bindings of string down its length. There is evidence of woodworm, the bottom of the back of the bat is split and the bottom edge is chipped and worn. There is a silver coloured metal shield attached to the back of the bat. It reads 'Presented To D.Clegg By The O.H.P.W.C.C. For Batting Average Season 1881'.
