Summary
A cream, glazed, ceramic press-moulded plate. A burgundy transfer decoration depicts a ruined church or abbey in the background and a river in the foreground. The initials 'PB' appear on the right-hand side. Beneath the tree on the left is 'Leeds Pottery'. Around the rim is a floral decoration.
Marks and inscriptions
On the reverse of the plate, on either side of a bottle kiln: 'DECORATED AND SUPPLIED BY GLADSTONE POTTERY MUSEUM/ LONGTON STOKE.ON.TRENT'
