Summary
A cardboard Easter egg in two halves with a toy chick inside. Each half of the Easter egg is covered with an identical coloured illustration on paper of a cockerel tending hatching chicks. On a branch above is a blue tit feeding four juveniles and in the lower foreground are brightly coloured Easter eggs. The illustrations are varnished. The chick inside the egg has wire legs and feet covered in orange paper, a yellow, possibly acrylic or nylon, body, black bead eyes and an orange beak. The inside of each egg half is lined with paper with green illustrations of flowers, Easter eggs and chicks. This lining paper is printed with the words Made in Germany, and has a red and white circular label printed with the word 'Foreign'. One half of the Easter egg edge is trimmed with an embossed and pierced paper imitating lace. Total number of items is 3.
