Summary

A collection of metal model railway buildings and accessories. All of them are printed or painted. They are all possibly a set comprising of the following. A pair of metal model railway signals painted red, white and black supported on a single T shaped frame, with pierced spandrels, standing on a green painted rectangular base. On one side is a black ladder. A pair of black levers move both signals up and down via wires. At the upper end of each signal are a pair of transparent red and green stop and go lights. A model railway platform and shelter. The platform is painted yellow and has a sloping section at each end. In the middle section is a shelter with a green tiled roof with a red roof ridge. Hanging on two wires from the underside of the roof is a black and white sign reading 'Wembley'. A signal box with a red tiled roof, green and yellow framed windows to the first floor, an external staircase and a red brick ground floor with four small green framed windows. A circular red boiler water supply tank on a tall black stem. The top of the tank can be reached by a tall black ladder. The whole is supported by a rectangular green stand. A level crossing with a pair of hinged white gates with a red diamond motif in the centre of each, a pair of green posts on either side of each gate and recessed 'track' between the two gates. The level crossing has a painted grass verge and road and it slopes at either end. A pair of signals on a single white stem with tall black ladder attached. The signals stand on a rectangular green base. The upper signal is red and white, the lower is yellow and black. Each have a pair of transparent red and green stop and go lights. A pair of black levers move each signal up and down via wires. A cream pedestrian bridge and stairs supported by a pair of green rectangular bases. A red brick building with a red tiled roof. On either side of the building is a green door, on all four sides of the building is a single green framed window. On each side of the building is a row of three fire buckets. The building stands on a yellow base. A model station building comprising of a waiting room, station master's office, bookstall and refreshments. Posters advertise Meccano and Hornby products. There is a painted view into the ticket hall. Total number of items is 11.

On the sloping section of the level crossing: 'HORNBY/ MADE IN ENGLAND/ BY MECCANO LTD.' On the underside of the base of the signals on single stems: 'HORNBY/ MADE IN ENGLAND/ BY MECCANO LTD.' On one of the rectangular bases of the pedestrian bridge and stairs: 'HORNBY/ MADE IN ENGLAND/ BY MECCANO LTD.'
