Summary
A sampler for cream cotton doll's drawers which are gathered at the waistband and bottom edges (circa 1892). The legs are trimmed with lace and the drawers fasten at the waist with a single button. This item is possibly 'the work of Sophie Golden, aged sixteen years, a pupil of Westgate House, Peterborough. Conducted by Miss Willoughby.'
