Summary
A child's card game entitled 'Peter Puzzlewig's Mirthful Game of Alliteration'. (circa 1830 to circa 1845). There are twenty-six cards. The top half of each card has a colour lithograph illustrating the verse printed beneath it. The cards come in a wooden box with a sliding lid, which is divided into two compartments. Each compartment holds thirteen cards. The lid has a paper label stuck on it which is covered in caricatures of men and women. The name of the game is in the centre of the label. Total number of items is 28.
