Summary
A doll's house size bisque-headed doll with jointed composition arms, hands, legs and feet. It has brown mohair hair and painted facial features. It is wearing a black felt hat with wide brim and a red hat band, a black wool jacket with red trim, a pink shirt with red trim, a yellow cummerbund, and white wool baggy breeches with pink fabric bands around the calves and ankles. On the feet are yellow painted boots or shoes. A piece of wire is twisted around the waist.
Provenance
Part of the Derbyshire Museum Service collection which was moved to Sudbury in 1972 to help form the basis of the Museum of Childhood collection. The original donor's name is given as 'Gregory'.
