Summary
A doll's house size bisque-headed doll with jointed composition arms, hands, legs and feet. She has painted facial features, brown mohair hair and painted yellow boots. She is wearing Dutch or Belgian national costume consisting of a white, lace trimmed cap, a blue dress with red trim and white collar, and a faded red apron edged with white lace. Underneath are a white net petticoat and knickers. A piece of wire holds the legs together.
Provenance
Part of the Derbyshire Museum Service collection which was moved to Sudbury in 1972 to help form the basis of the Museum of Childhood collection. The original donor's name is given as 'Gregory'.
