Summary
A mid 19th century wooden (various timbers) highchair, that is possibly designed for a toddler rather than a baby. The chair is made from stained wood and has a bobbin spindled back although the original webbed cane seat has been replaced by a solid wooden one. It has a curved top rail supported by a continuous piece of wood which has turned decoration near the top and ends in splayed legs at the bottom. The front legs also have turned decoration at the top and plain splayed feet. There is wear on the front bar.
