Summary
A doll's house size Armand Marseille bisque-headed maid doll (circa 1890) with inset brown glass eyes, painted facial details, an open mouth showing teeth, and brown mohair hair. She has bisque or composition forearms and hands. Her right hand has lost fingers and the thumbs, while her left hand has chipped fingers and thumb. She has a stuffed cloth body, legs and feet. She is wearing a black, long sleeved dress with a white lace collar and cuffs and a white linen hemstitched apron. Underneath are white cotton drawers with lace trim and herringbone decoration. On her feet are fine knitted pink stockings. In her hair is a white lace band. She is part of a German kitchen.
